Mother Dairy just announced that it will pass on 100% of GST cuts to customers across its product range. That means everyday essentials—from milk to butter to ice cream—just got cheaper for millions of Indian households.

With this move, consumers will collectively save hundreds of crores annually .

Get ready to save a few extra rupees during your daily grocery run, as Mother Dairy has announced a reduction in the prices of select dairy products, including milk (tetra pack), butter, ice creams, and processed foods under the Safal brand. The price cut comes following the latest Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, which will come into effect from September 22.

The company said it is passing "100 per cent of the tax benefit to our patrons, effective September 22, 2025, keeping up with the spirit of this reform."

The price reduction is a step that will "significantly boost consumption and accelerate the adoption of safe, high-quality packaged offerings," said Manish Bandlish, Managing Director, Mother Dairy, in an official statement.
